The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services into the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering companies such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it's alarmed concerning the significant range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The assistance place established for intervention activities a large influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for that Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this sassa reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional sources to help the servicing of all buyers and improve use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
